A selection of small conté drawings -- Each brief impression from my imagination is an approximately 3" x 3" responsiveness --represents a real presence in a collection of works pursued over a 3-month period in the early 90's. I could do 3 or 4 in a session of 30 --or just one out of 10 might work --or I'd fail completely. Many of the images were impressions of people in architectural spaces. A compulsion, there has been a concentration on drawings and sketches periodically since the early 70's, when I was living in NYC. - (See: 'Theatre' and '1972 Olympics' )
