In An Exhibition -

S n o o z e


"I've always loved caviar

topped with chopped egg,"

She said . . . .


"But please take that champagne

you've poured in a glass

And bring me a goblet of crystal

instead.

Then using your shawl to

pillow my head,

And smoking the pipe that I've

just painted red,


And clasping the paper with

all of my toes,

And letting my spectacles

slip down my nose,


I'll take a quick snooze on

the daffodils silk,

And let all the rest of you

finish my milk."
